| PERFORMANCE |
Fan performance is derived from tests carried out in accordance with BS848:Part1:1980 Test Method C.
Our test procedures have been verified by the CSIR (report DEF99/033) to be strictly in accordance with the standard. Performance tolerances are Class B as defined in BS848:1980.
| BALANCING |
All impeller/shaft assemblies are dynamically balanced in accordance with international standards to ensure smooth, vibration free operation. The standards adopted are:
ISO 2372 – Acceptance level below 1,8mm/sec.
ISO 1940 – Grade G6,3.
| CLASSES OF CONSTRUCTION |
Six standard classes of construction, defined by
impeller tip speed, are available. The limiting speeds are:
Cl1 = 50m/sec.
Cl2 = 63m/sec.
Cl3 = 80m/sec.
Cl4 = 100m/sec.
Cl5 = 125m/sec.
Cl6 = 160m/sec.
| IMPELLER DIAMETER RATIOS |
Fan selection is optimized by varying impeller diameter ratio. Four variations, relative to nominal impeller diameter, are available. These are:
‘A’ = 0,90 x Nom. Dia.
'B’ = 0,95 x Nom. Dia.
‘C’ = 1,0 x Nom. Dia.
‘D’ = 1,05 x Nom. Dia.

| DISCHARGE ANGLES |
Standard angles of discharge, in
45° increments from 0° to 225°, are available as indicated. These are offered in both RIGHT HAND (CW) and LEFT HAND (CCW) rotation, as viewed from the fan DRIVE SIDE. The diagram shows Right Hand rotation.
| MOTOR POSITIONS |
Four standard motor positions are available as indicated for belt driven fans.
| ACCESS DOOR POSITIONS |
Standard access door positions are as shown and are determined when the fan is viewed from the DRIVE SIDE. These positions are independent of fan discharge angle, i.e.
360° remains at top centre regardless of the fan discharge
angle.
| INLET BOX POSITIONS |
Standard inlet box positions are as shown and are determined when the fan is viewed from the DRIVE SIDE. These positions are independent of fan discharge angle, i.e.
360° remains at top centre regardless of the fan discharge angle. |
